Canada Blog Hop: Halloween

Welcome to our October Blog Hop featuring Tricks and Treats. To purchase any of the items seen in our blog hop today, contact NICKY to place an order.

We hope that you will take the time to leave comments on our posts, as we love to get feedback from our viewers….whether it was something that you really liked or some new technique that was used that you would like to learn how to do….by leaving us comments, we get to hear what you like, and what you want to see. Thank you… now on to our hop!

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you can start here as this is a circular hop, but if you want to follow us across Canada then please start at the beginning and join JULIE at 12×12 TRAVELS.  If you came from MICHELLE of MY CREATIONS WITH MICHLLE then you are in the right place!

Using the Cricut ARTISTE cartridge I cut out the cone and three circles.  One of the circles I used as a template for attaching the brim of the hat to the cone, one is used for the brim of the hat and the other is used to close the hat in.

Using the”donut-like” circle as a template I made small slits from the center of the circle to the template.  IMG_4642

Then folded each slit back towards the outside edge of the circle

Placing LIQUID GLASS on the slats and then gluing each slat to the inside of the cone.IMG_4644

Once the slats are dry Place a couple of mini chocolate bars inside the cone.IMG_0085

Place liquid glass around the outside edge of the circle and glue to the slatted brim to keep the chocolate inside.

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is JOANNE of  JAG’S SCRAPIN’ CORNER.  If you get lost along the way, you can head to MICHELLE of MY CREATIONS WITH MICHLLE , as she has the complete blog list.

Thanks for hopping along with us – we hope we were able to inspire you to get creative using some of the designs, products and techniques seen along the way. We hope you will join us again next month when we will be featuring Designer Creations. So mark November 15th on your calendars and hop along with us.

OMG! So super cute! A great way to give out treats. And your step-by-step is so helpful! The spider webs and frayed twine are nice touches.
